Sunday Evening

Hey, its me again!
after i posted this morning i decided to finally get out of bed and do something of my day... S0 i got up and decided to go to the gym... Looked out of my window and slightly changed my plans to working out in my basement because my car was completely covered in snow!!! it was passed my car doors :( my dad was snow blowing outside and my friend's car was also in our driveway blocking both cars because he did not want to get hit by a snowplow during the night (he was at my neighbour's house). I asked my dad if he needed help and he said not right away, so i decided to hop onto my treadmill for a bit before heading outside to unbury the 3 cars. After maybe 20 mins i was summoned outside and Gordy, my dad and i shovelled the rest of the snow around the cars and took all 3 out. Afterwards, my dad finally taught me how to use the snow blower. That thing is a workout in itself!!! It was a freaking battle at first to get it to go where i wanted it to but i won in the end! hehe. But pulling and pushing it was freaking heavy and pretty much consisted of my weights for the day. I could see my mother in the window laughing at me, i have to admit, i dont blame her :) By the end, i was all covered in snow, kinda sweaty but quite satisfied that i did the whole driveway on my own!

After the snow blower fiasco, i came back inside, did another 10 minutes on the treadmill and then did a bit of yoga to stretch everything out and then my abs. I am pretty happy i worked out in my basement today, considering i had never even touched the equipment before. I decided to take pictures of my tummy to show you all my progress (although i will not be posting before pictures because i am a little embarrassed).

This is my tummy from the side (notice the ab bumps?? :D)

And this is from the front :)

As you can tell, im pretty proud of myself. I spend a lot of time at the gym these days. My schedule right now is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday. Monday through Wednesday i take yoga in between workouts and Saturday as well, although im looking into taking this core fitness class which would be 3 days a week but also focuses on the same things, i think its just a higher intensity level though. We will see. I am taking a self-defense class on Sunday at the studio where they teach the core fitness so i will definitely be asking questions about it!.

Anyways, after my workout, i took a shower and got ready to go to Chapters. I originally went there to look at some yoga books but then ended up in the sales area and picked up 3 books. I dont have a lot of spare time to read these days since i am usually reading for school but i just couldnt resist. I got "Everyone's Burning" by Ian Spiegelman, "Somebody Else" by Reggie Nadelson and "The Washingtonienne" by Jessica Cutler. I am excited to start them although i still have 2 more books to read before them that i borrowed from my friend Amy :) She actually also has a blog here http://www.ames-her-way.blogspot.com/ thats her link :)

After Chapters, i stopped at a grocery store quick to get foil for my mom and then headed home. By the time i got back it was practically supper time. I have been trying to eat really well these days so my suppers are never the same as the rest of the family's. I dont eat carbs after 3pm anymore since they sit in you and basically make you fat and i am on a high protein diet. So i had chicken with steamed broccoli and cucumbers on the side. It was really yummy!!! And a yogurt for desert.

After dinner, i relaxed for a bit and then headed off to Timmies to study for my Law class... BORING. I got a lot accomplished though. A whole 2 chapters (2 weeks worth). Now i just have to memorize all these big terms and then im good to go hehe. I think i have this week off for school so im pretty happy about it, but i have to check to make sure.

Anyways, im off to bed. It's monday tomorrow and mondays are always hectic at work, ALWAYS.

Good Night!
